PRO's...First off, being thrilled by the authentic look & feel of this COLT pistol, I wanted to try it out right away. after my steps of prepping & disassembling the gun, I treated it with gun oil. following manufacturers instructions of pre-operation, ( wich is very vital to the life of the parts), I wanted to make sure everything was right. they, (KWC) ? have done a fine job in manufacturing this piece with smooth operation of all parts. the research applied to converting this from the actual firearm to a airsoft mechanism was done with great precision. anyone who knows the 1911 as I do, handling, working, & taking it apart & putting it back together, is more enjoyable than words can say. shooting the piece goes without saying. without the loud pop of gunpowder banging out of the muzzle, you would think this is the real thing. everything came in the box as described, packaged nice & complete. CONS...The only thing im not really pleased with in this gun is that after you shoot your 17 rounds, the Magazine has a problem hanging up & not ejecting smoothly, expelling the air from the Co2 tank. this creates a freezing of the seal immedialty, depleting the life of the seal. Im sure that it can take this a few times, but cant be good. not to mention the waisted Co2. I have had this problem before in other guns & globbing the valve & assembly with Vaseline seems to fix the problem. also lube up the magazine as well, & you should be ok. there is also an issue with the spare extra clip supplied. as hard to believe as this is, there is no access hole (gap) to pop the bb's in the clip. ..yea... in the spring track, pulling the load pin back to the stop, no access hole is there. so I had to drill one in. using a common 6mm-7mm drill bit, I pulled the plunger back to the stop, & drilled this hole in front of the tip of the plunger. make sure you place the clip in a vice when drilling, this is a cast metal & wants to grab bad. go slow, because this takes hardly no effort to drill through. blow out any shavings, wash, dry, oil up & loads very nice. mine works fine now. other than these small issues wich can be remedied in a matter of 15 minutes or less, this is a great little gun & I Love my 1911 COLT. Very pleased overall with this Gun.TM. Walters / EPS.
